(Video) Beautiful birds-eye view update of new Spurs stadium

Mr AV has come up trumps again with yet another stunning drone video to show the progress made on the new Spurs stadium from the sky.

With the roof lift now in place, over the next two weeks, the cables will be lifted into position and subsequently, the roof will be covered with 287 glass roof sections and 180 cassettes.

The 62,000 seater stadium is due to open in August for the new Premier League season, although there are rumours which suggest that Tottenham will contact the Premier League to request that they play the opening few fixtures away from home, should work overrun.

The new stadium’s retractable pitch is comprised of 99 pitch trays which are delivered in sections and compiled on site. The final phase of tray deliveries has commenced and is scheduled to be completed by the end of April. Over the next few weeks we will be receiving 60 pitch trays with three arriving each night.
