Tottenham Hotspur defender Toby Alderweireld has described Jose Mourinho as an unbelievable manager.
Spurs chairman Daniel Levy made the decision to replace Mauricio Pochettino with the Portuguese in late November following a disastrous start to the new campaign.
At the time of Mourinho’s arrival, Alderweireld was set to be out of contract in North London at the end of the season and admitted that the new head coach played a key part in persuading him to remain at the club (Standard).
Alderweireld admitted the players are trying to make the best out of the situation of having to train via video link as a result of the coronavirus pandemic and the part which Mourinho is playing in helping to man manage his squad during these unprecedented times.
