Mauricio Pochettino was dismissed as Tottenham Hotspur manager on Tuesday evening ending his five and a half year relationship with the club.
It took Daniel Levy less than twelve hours to appoint his successor when Jose Mourinho was confirmed as the man to lead the North Londoners.
Pochettino kept a core of players together during his spell at the club which includes the likes of Harry Kane, Christian Eriksen, Jan Vertonghen, Toby Alderweireld, Hugo Lloris and Heung-min Son.
Former striker Darren Bent has warned that a number of players will be upset by the Argentine’s dismissal and may even want to leave the club in order to link up with Pochettino at his next managerial post.
Harry Kane has already revealed that he went to visit Pochettino at his home after he was sacked (Telegraph).
“There’s a number of players that Poch signed that’ll be distraught.” 😢
