Former Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Danny Murphy has criticised Heung-min Son.
The South Korean was shown a straight red card for violent conduct during the second half of the match against Chelsea at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Sunday.
Murphy believes that Son must learn quickly from the mistake after claiming that it was a turning point in the 2-0 defeat when Spurs were trying to get a foothold back into the game.
Son’s decision to kick out at Rudiger was described by Murphy as ridiculous considering VAR technology is on hand to look at such situations.
Tottenham have confirmed that they have appealed Son’s three match ban which currently sidelines him for the Premier League matches against Brighton, Norwich City and Southampton.
