Danny Rose was in blinding form at the Nou Camp on Tuesday night when he played an instrumental part in Tottenham Hotspur’s 1-1 draw at Barcelona.
The left-back showed against Burnley that even the best players can sometimes get it horribly wrong when he was left putting his hand in his hands after attempting a cross.
Rose received the ball on the left flank, before taking a couple of touches to get the ball out of his feed and looked up to see which Spurs players were in the penalty area for him to cross to, only for his left-footed attempt to come horribly off the side of his left boot and out for a goal kick.
Thankfully, Christian Eriksen’s late goal has ensured that Tottenham were not on the receiving end of a frustrating afternoon at Wembley Stadium.
