Danny Rose has had a tough couple of seasons at Tottenham Hotspur but is now showing some of his best form in many a month.
The left-back has previously admitted that he has struggled with depression (Guardian) and also hit the headlines back in August 2017 when he criticised the club in the press over the sale of Kyle Walker and lack of transfer activity (Independent).
Rose has since managed to get his career in North London back on track and has avoided any niggling injuries to the benefit of Spurs fans who have seen him put in some high energy performances on the left flank this season.
His passion for the club is unquestionable and this was clear to see with his reaction following Hugo Lloris’ and Jan Vertonghen’s heroics in the injury-time penalty drama against Arsenal.
