Christian Eriksen popped up with yet another crucial goal in Tottenham Hotspur’s quest to finish in the top four of the Premier League this season.
Just when it looked as if Brighton would leave the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium with a point from a 0-0 draw, the Dane produced a moment of magic with a beautiful left-footed shot which hit the back of the net with power from outside of the box.
Up to the 88th minute of the match, Brighton had frustrated Tottenham in the final third of the pitch by getting eleven men behind the ball and not allowing Mauricio Pochettino’s side to play their usual free-flowing game.
After the match, Dele Alli was full of praise for his fellow midfielder by describing him as a maestro and a magician.
