Video: Dele Alli’s 50th goal for Spurs was a carbon copy of his first

Dele Alli scored his 50th goal for Tottenham Hotspur yesterday in the 2-0 win against Leicester City.

The midfielder capped off a man of the match performance against the Foxes by nodding in the second goal of the game and it was almost a carbon copy of his first for the club.

Ironically, Dele’s first goal for the club also came at the King Power Stadium and was dispatched in an identical manner to his most recent effort. He has now scored 50 goals since joining Spurs.

What is more impressive is that in 117 Premier League appearances for Mauricio Pochettino’s side, he has scored 40 goals in the competition.

Other notable Premier League players after 117 appearances:

Paul Scholes – 36 goals
Frank Lampard – 18 goals
Steven Gerrard – 16 goals
