Video: Fan urges Spurs to keep Pochettino and highlights the problems at the club

Tottenham Hotspur supporters would have been hoping that the club would have kicked on after the disappointing Champions League final defeat and look to challenge Liverpool and Manchester City for the Premier League title this season.

To say the season has not gone to plan would be an understatement. Pundits have suggested there are behind the scenes problems involving senior stars which has seen Spurs only manage to win three of their nine top flight matches (Football Insider).

A Spurs supporter called into the BBC Radio 5 Live Sport phone-in on Sunday evening to urge the club to stick with Mauricio Pochettino to turn around the current poor run of form.

Tottenham’s defending against Watford left a lot to be desired with the majority of the defence at fault for their Hornet’s opening goal.

The supporter claimed that Jan Vertonghen is the only decent defender they have while Christian Eriksen needs to be shown the door given his desire to leave.

He also highlighted the slow tempo which the players seem to be playing at and need to re-introduce the one and two-touch football from earlier in Pochettino’s reign.
