Following the weekend’s round of Premier League fixtures, Tottenham Hotspur now find themselves six points behind Liverpool and five behind Manchester City at the top of the table.
What would have been considered on paper to be a surprise defeat at Burnley was not as much of a shock to the system considering the performance of the Tottenham players during the loss at Turf Moor.
Former Arsenal defender Martin Keown was asked during his appearance on BBC’s Match of the Day about what this means for Spurs’ title hopes and he claimed that it was over, and questioned whether Mauricio Pochettino’s side were in the hunt in the first instance.
