Former Premier League defender Joleon Lescott has claimed that he believes that Mauricio Pochettino does not want investment in his Tottenham Hotspur side.
Lescott was appearing as a guest on BT Sport’s Saturday Morning Savage show and was asked if Mauricio Pochettino has taken Spurs as far as he can.
The ex Everton and Manchester City man strangely suggested that the Spurs boss does not want to spend any money so he is not under pressure to win any trophies.
He claimed that it gives Pochettino a safety net against any questions of why they have not won any silverware.
