Former Tottenham Hotspur player Alan Brazil has claimed that Mauricio Pochettino got his tactics wrong against Ajax, notably in the first half.
The Dutch giants take a 1-0 lead and an away goal into the second key which will take place in Amsterdam a week today.
Brazil said on his show on talkSPORT this morning that he believes that Pochettino should have played Lucas Moura as a lone striker with Dele Alli playing off him and flood the midfield.
Pochettino’s first half tactics had Brazil fearing that if he did not change things, it could have resulted in his side being two or three goals down before half time.
Instead, Spurs go into the second leg boosted by the return of Heung-min Son from suspension knowing that they need to find the back of the net.
"First half Poch got it wrong!" ❌
"The only good thing about it is Spurs are still in the tie."
"The rumour is Kane could make the bench in the second leg."
