Video: Former Spur scores pile-driver in Russian third division at the weekend

Former Tottenham Hotspur striker Roman Pavlyuchenko has proven that he still knows how to find the back of the net.

The 38-year-old is currently playing his football in the Russian third division for Znamya Noginsk.

Pavlyuchenko took to the field on Saturday for the visit of Ryazan and was unable to help his side from avoiding a 2-1 defeat to leave his side in tenth place in the table.

After going 2-0 down in the first half, Pavlyuchenko pulled one back for the home side after 64 minutes when he unleashed a powerful right-footed shot beyond the goalkeeper.

Pavlyuchenko scored 41 goals in 113 appearances for Spurs between 2008-2012 and previously described his pleasure at playing in front of the White Hart Lane faithful.
