Tottenham Hotspur have taken the lead against Stoke City after 21 minutes of action at the Bet365 Stadium.
The goal came when the returning Harry Winks picked up the ball on the left-hand side of the pitch and curled a cross into the penalty area where an unmarked Gareth Bale used his experience to guide the ball into the bottom corner with his head.
Bale is no stranger to scoring at the same end of the pitch at Stoke when he scored a beautiful volley under Harry Redknapp back in 2010.
Tottenham have dominated the possession in the opening quarter of the match with Stoke happy to defend deep with numbers behind the ball.
