Video: Groundman shares footage of ‘strange day’ at Hotspur Way

Tottenham Hotspur’s Head of Playing Surfaces and Estates, Darren Baldwin has shared a glimpse of Hotspur Way amid the coronavirus pandemic.

The first team returned to training at the facility on Tuesday on a limited and individual basis (Spurs official).

Members of Jose Mourinho’s squad have access to a limited number of pitches for individual running sessions on a strict rotational arrangement to allow the players to build their fitness ahead of the potential restart of the Premier League season.

Baldwin recorded footage showing the lush playing surfaces in pristine condition with members of the groundskeeping staff still working to look after the vast amount of pitches at the Enfield base.

The surfaces will not see any game time soon after the club announced that the Premier League confirmed that all remaining 2019/20 matches involving age-grades from Under-9 to Under-16 as well as the Under-18 and Under-23 competitions will no longer take place.
