Harry Redknapp has claimed that Tottenham Hotspur could challenge for the Premier League title this season.
Spurs find themselves in sixth position in the Premier League table heading into the international break and can be forgiven for feeling that they could occupy an even higher place after the controversial handball decision against Newcastle United cost them two additional points.
Jose Mourinho’s side will certainly have made the rest of the Premier League sit up and take notice when they demolished Manchester United 6-1 on Sunday.
Redknapp believes that his former side now have the strength and depth in each position and while he acknowledges that Liverpool and Manchester City will be frontrunners, Spurs are a danger to anyone in the top flight this season.
Mourinho’s side will return to Premier League action on October 18th when West Ham United are the visitors to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
