Tottenham Hotspur have taken the lead within the first five minutes of action in North london against Manchester City.
The goal came after quick thinking from a free kick by Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg saw Tanguy Ndombele loft a beautiful ball into the space behind the City defence that allowed Heung-min Son to race through and place the ball through the legs of the advancing Ederson.
Questions could be asked about the positioning of the City goalkeeper but credit must go to Son, who has once again shown his excellent form against Pep Guardiola’s side.
Spurs have started the match brightly but will have to be at their game to keep at attack-minded City at bay.
