Tottenham Hotspur were once again thankful for the introduction of VAR after another dramatic late decision.
With the score level at 2-2 in injury time, Gabriel Jesus scored what looked to be a heartbreaking winner for Manchester City only for the decision to be overruled by VAR after Laporte was found to have made contact with the ball with his hand.
After the match, Spurs skipper Hugo Lloris was asked about the incident and admitted that he thought it was a goal.
The Frenchman believes that Pep Guardiola’s side can consider themselves unlucky.
It was the second time which City have been denied victory against Tottenham by a VAR decision, however Spurs will certainly be delighted with a point at the home of the champions.
"To be honest, I thought it was a goal … it's a bit unlucky for City."
