Former Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Jamie O’Hara has criticised Premier League footballers who have ignored Government guidelines amid the coronavirus pandemic.
The Spurs pair of Moussa Sissoko and Serge Aurier had to apologise after they decided to train together (talkSPORT) despite the restrictions being in place which state that you can only exercise on your own or with people you live with (Gov.Uk).
While the country remains on lockdown, Arsenal have become the latest club to hit the headlines for the wrong reasons after four players, David Luiz, Granit Xhaka, Nicolas Pepe and Alexandre Lacazette were spotted flouting social distancing guidelines (Sky Sports).
talkSPORT claim that Nicolas Pepe shared a photo on WhatsApp of himself taking part in a football game while Luiz and Xhaka met up for a kickabout.
Lacazette was photographed standing outside his property near a valeter who was cleaning the Frenchman’s car on his driveway.
O’Hara has blasted footballers for their stupidity and believes that their properties are big enough for them to enjoy exercising in their gardens.
?♂️ “It’s just stupid!”
? “It’s really immature when people are still dying.”
