Tottenham Hotspur defender Jan Vertonghen met with the media at yesterday’s pre-Borussia Dortmund press conference at Hotspur Way and was asked a wide range of questions.
Vertonghen could be set to start at left-back this evening for Mauricio Pochettino’s side after the boss confirmed that Danny Rose would not start at Wembley due to a gash on his shin sustained against Leicester City.
The Belgian revealed that he was comfortable at the thought of slotting in on the left flank having done so for his country on a number of times.
He was also quizzed on a number of other topics including the prospect of a full Wembley capacity, the challenge Dortmund pose and even how these games feel more significant as he approaches 32.
