Joe Rodon has admitted that his move to Tottenham Hotspur is a dream come true after completing his deadline day switch from Swansea City.
The Welsh international sealed his move on a five-year deal for an initial £11m plus add-ons (BBC).
Rodon described himself as a modern day centre half who is firstly focused at defending but is also comfortable on the ball
The 22-year-old admitted that the fact that his international team-mates Gareth Bale and Ben Davies are at the club was an influence in his decision to make the move.
The prospect of playing under Jose Mourinho was something which he clearly relishes given his reaction to the question from the Spurs TV interviewer.
“It hasn’t really hit me yet. It’s a massive honour and a massive club, I can’t wait to get started.”
