The Tottenham Hotspur players and the new backroom staff including Jose Mourinho have arrived at the Riverside Stadium ahead of their FA Cup third round tie against Middlesbrough this afternoon.
Mourinho will come up against a former son of Tottenham in Jonathan Woodgate who is now in charge of Boro and is assisted by the legendary Robbie Keane.
Ironically, it was Woodgate who scored the winning goal in Tottenham’s last taste of competitive silverware when he headed in against Chelsea in the League Cup final in 2008.
The North London faithful will be expecting a better display from their side than what they witnessed at Southampton on New Year’s Day.
Academy player Dennis Cirkin was spotted among the players heading to the dressing room.
