Video: Journalist suggests the body language of the Spurs players was hollow

Matthew Dunn, sports reporter for the Daily Express has claimed that the body language of the Tottenham Hotspur players looked ‘hollow’ before they had even kicked off against Brighton.

Dunn pinpointed the fact that the Spurs players went into a huddle just minutes before the match on the pitch which he felt was an artificial gesture.

After going behind after just three minutes following another Hugo Lloris mistake, Dunn believes that Harry Kane who had taken over the captaincy following the Frenchman’s injury should have got his players together and refocused them for the remainder of the match.

Inside the Spurs players stood around individually with Dunn claiming that the collective unity of the squad which has been a constant in the previous season under Pochettino has gone missing.

Opinion

Dunn is spot on about the body language of the Spurs players, after conceding the early goal it looked as if their already dented confidence had taken another blow.
