Harry Kane has given Tottenham Hotspur a lifeline against Barcelona with a stunning goal to make it 1-2. (edit – Messi has now made it 1-3)
The Spurs striker found the back of the net just 32 seconds after Lionel Messi had hit the post for the second time during the opening eight minutes of the second half which in reality could have put the game beyond Mauricio Pochettino’s side.
However, Spurs broke up the pitch and some fine work from the industrious Erik Lamela released Kane who with some trickery, sat the Barcelona defender on his backside and finished superbly to send the home fans into a frenzy.
