Video: Korean commentators go wild after Son’s late winner at Aston Villa

Heung-min Son is considered to be something close to sporting royalty in his native South Korea.

Almost every step of the 27-year-old’s actions are followed with interest and each of Tottenham Hotspur’s matches are broadcast live back in his homeland.

The striker once again stepped up to fill the void left by the injured Harry Kane with a brace of goals in the 3-2 win at Aston Villa.

The commentary team from the South Korean broadcaster certainly could not hide their delight when Son struck deep into injury time to ensure all three points headed back to North London.

Son had missed a number of chances during the 90 minutes and showed great composure to slot the ball beyond Pepe Reina in what could be a vital goal in the race for the top four.

Spurs fans will certainly have an eye on tonight’s match between Chelsea and Manchester United; whilst hoping that Lampard’s side fail to pick up any points.
