Villarreal have taken to Twitter to post a photo teasing that they will soon announce a new signing.
Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano revealed on Friday that Tottenham Hotspur defender Juan Foyth was expected to join the La Liga side on season long loan deal which included an option to make the deal permanent for €15million.
Foyth has not yet appeared for Spurs this season, and made just seven appearances in all competitions during the last campaign.
The Argentine international has struggled for game time under Jose Mourinho with the Portuguese preferring to pick Davinson Sanchez, Toby Alderweireld, Eric Dier, and Japhet Tanganga in the heart of his defence.
