It may have taken 43 minutes but Tottenham Hotspur have taken the lead against West Ham United at the London Stadium.
It was Tottenham’s first attempt on goal all afternoon after some fine play from Moussa Sissoko (yes, you read that right). The Frenchman cut back in on his left foot from the right flank and ghosted a cross onto the head of Erik Lamela who nodded home.
The effort was Lamela’s seventh goal in his last nine appearances for Spurs, what a season he is having.
Spurs lead 1-0 at the break.
