Mauricio Pochettino handed Giovani Lo Celso a full debut in last night’s 4-0 win against Red Star Belgrade.
The Argentine showed great composure to control the ball and finish in what was a frantic penalty area after both Harry Kane and Heung-min Son had both hit the woodwork.
Lo Celso gave an accomplished display, showing some good touches and linked up well with his team mates whilst Christian Eriksen had to watch on from the bench.
After the win in Serbia, the 23-year-old took to the club’s official social media account to send a message to the Spurs fans which was translated by his team-mate and compatriot Juan Foyth.
Spurs are now in a healthy position to qualify for the Champions League knockout stages, a win in their next match against Olympiacos in North London will secure their place.
