The Bulgarian side were the masters of their own downfall when they attempted to play out from the back but a stray pass allowed Dele Alli to cross the ball into the penalty area which Carlos Vinicius neatly teed up his compatriot Lucas Moura to finish.
Vinicius had found the back of the net on two occasions during the first half with Harry Winks adding a stunning long-range effort following the break.
Spurs have looked comfortable throughout the match with their opponents rarely looking to conjure a counter attack.
