(Video) Major milestone installed at new Spurs stadium

A major milestone of construction took place at the new Spurs stadium earlier on Sunday when the link bridge between Lillywhite House and the new stadium was installed.

The link bridge to the north of the stadium will form an enclosed link from the executive offices of the new stadium to the main club offices in Lillywhite House. The bridge links level 4 of Lillywhite House to level 5 of the stadium, allowing cub officials to direct between the two buildings.

The bridge is conceived of as a sculptural structure that mediates the dynamic structure of the stadium with the more sedate architecture of Lillywhite House. The outer skin of power coated aluminum louvres of varying densities, rotate around the inner glass enclosure and aluminum deck to create a form that reveals differing views into and from within the bridge. The linear nature of the louvres accentuate the form and directionality of movement within.

Chris Cowlin was in attendance to see the bridge being installed and has brought us this video update.
