While things aren’t exactly going well for Tottenham Hotspur on the pitch at the moment, work is continuing off the pitch at the new stadium.
A major milestone of the construction looks set to be completed today with just one panel left to be fitted to the exterior of the south west side of the ground.
One the German-made perforated panel is put in place, it will take the total number to a staggering 4,801.
Some of the panels will illuminate at night to create a beautiful visual effect of Tottenham’s new home. Fans will be hoping that the 62,062 seater stadium will be illuminating for Champions League football next season and not Europa League action.
