Video: Marcus Edwards scores brilliant solo effort in Portugal

Marcus Edwards has given everyone a reminder of his raw footballing talent after scoring his first goal in Portugal.
The 21-year-old completed his exit from Tottenham prior to the European transfer window closing when he moved to Vitoria.
Edwards has already found the back of the net for the Portuguese club in their Europa League match against Arsenal in October.
He showed his brilliant dribbling ability when he picked up the ball on the edge of the Portimonense area and easily beat three players before producing a finish of the highest level to help his side to a 2-0 win in the Primeira Liga.

Edwards departed north London having made just one senior appearance for the club – against Gillingham in the EFL Cup in September 2016.

Former Spurs head coach Mauricio Pochettino once said the youngster had some of the same qualities as a young Lionel Messi (Sky Sports).
Opinion
It is somewhat of a shame that Jose Mourinho did not have an opportunity to cast his opinion over Edwards, who knows what could have happened.
