Michael Dawson may have last played for Tottenham Hotspur in 2014, but he once again showed last night how much the club still means to him.
The former Spurs skipper was a guest on Sky Sports News where he was providing updates on the Champions League tie against Borussia Dortmund when the presenters went to Daws for an update on 86 minutes.
Christian Eriksen was preparing to take the corner which led to substitute Fernando Llorente’s header that secured a memorable 3-0 win and the delight on Dawson’s face is plain to see.
Dawson now plays his football for Nottingham Forest, where he started his career but is certainly considered a club legend by Spurs fans.
Former Spurs defender Michael Dawson still remains so in love with Tottenham Hotspur.
What a brilliant reaction this is from ‘Daws’ when Fernando Llorente heads in the third goal this evening against Borussia Dortmund.
