(Video) New Spurs stadium construction update

As we are now halfway through March and considering that there are only four, yes four Premier League matches left to play at Wembley for Tottenham Hotspur this season, attentions are turning more and more to the new Spurs stadium.

Spurs superfan Chris Cowlin made his weekly trip to N17 to provide us with yet another fantastic update of the development of the new stadium.

The £850million development is taking place 24 hours a day, seven days a week with around 2,100 workers on site at any given time.

Having originally planned to seat 61,559 fans, the club have now been given approval from Haringey Council to raise the capacity to 62,062.

There is the added pressure of being ready on time because the stadium will hold its first NFL game – as part of a ten-year agreement – when the Seattle Seahawks play the Oakland Raiders in Tottenham on October 14.

It is half expected that will request to play the opening few games of next season away from home.

Take a look at the video update, below. COYS.
