It has been quite the fortnight at Tottenham off the pitch, first the club announced that the roof lift had commenced and then the club announced the new Spurs stadium season ticket prices.

The roof lift stage sees large columns being lifted into place onto the elliptically-shaped ring roof. Once completed, there will be 287 glass sections and 810 cassettes fitted into place and will represent a major milestone of the construction.

Cables will then be attached and tightened until the roof is sufficiently tensioned to structurally support itself.

The vast majority of fans have been unhappy with the club’s pricing structure for season tickets at the new stadium after its supporters’ trust accused the club of failing to “properly address” fans concerns.

Back to the subject at hand, Spurs superfan Chris Cowlin made his weekly trip to N17, this time during the event to bring us an update of the construction.
