(Video) New Spurs stadium drone footage shows exiting progress made

Mr AV has taken his drone to the skies around the new Tottenham Hotspur stadium this afternoon to provide yet another stunning aerial update of what’s new and what has changed.

As you will see from the footage, there were plenty of workers on site today and you can plainly see the pitch trays which are now covering the synthetic NFL pitch.

The fully retractable grass surface will be used for football matches whilst the artificial pitch underneath will be used for NFL matches, music concerts and a range of other events, in order to protect the integrity of both playing surfaces.

The grass pitch will sit in three pitch-long steel sections, weighing more than 3,000 tonnes each. The surface will retract under the South Stand to reveal the artificial playing surface underneath.

One thing that still baffles me is that a couple of the roof cassettes are still to be fitted, despite other work being completed on the roof.
