Video: No penalty for Spurs as Heung-min Son harshly booked for ‘diving’

Tottenham Hotspur fans were left baffled by referee Michael Oliver’s decision to show Heung-min Son a yellow card.

The incident occurred in the 14th minute when a Christian Eriksen pass was received by the South Korean in the penalty area and there was clear contact made by the outstretched leg of Leicester City defender Harry Maguire.

The Foxes player instantly pointed his finger at Son, with the Spurs player replicating the gesture back after there was contact made in the challenge.

Staggeringly, Oliver booked Son rather than pointing to the penalty spot.
