VIDEO: Pochettino and Mourinho’s press conference

Mauricio Pochettino spoke to the press after Tottenham’s 0-0 draw with Chelsea at the Lane and admitted that it felt like a case of two points dropped.

Pochettino has now led Tottenham to thirteen matches unbeaten in the Premier League and next face West Bromwich Albion at the Hawthorns on Saturday.

Be patient with the video as you’ll first have to listen to Mourinho’s waffle before it switches to Pochettino.

Pochettino told the press: “Yes, and this is a good thing, because we play again the last champion and…. it’s good that you got the feeling that, Chelsea was a small team maybe, no, and Tottenham can win every game that we play. This is very difficult…. it’s not easy. We are a…. with (one of) the younger team on the Premier League and the maturity we showed today…. we showed in different games, I think, that we need to feel happy.”

Have something to tell us about this article?

  1. What happened to the 'best chances' that Chelsea had? he could not have been speaking about today's game, where Lloris, apart from one occasion was a spectator and Begovic was by far the busier.
No doubt the sycophantic press will report of a 'mater tactician' who nearly stole the game, what tripe that would be, it was park the bus and at all times keep 9/10 men behind the ball. Mater tactician, he has become scared to compete, scared to lose and today's game plan was a cowardly display of a diminishing man.
