We are all eager to see the progress which has been made to the new Spurs stadium and Chris Cowlin has been to N17 for his weekly update.

With the roof lift now in place, over the next two weeks, the cables will be lifted into position and subsequently, the roof will be covered with 287 glass roof sections and 180 cassettes.

The past week has also seen more seats installed at the 62,000-seater stadium which is costing the club in the region of £850 million.

Take a look at Chris’ video below and let us know via the comments section on whether you think the stadium will be finished in time for the new Premier League campaign in August. There are rumours that we could approach the Premier League to play the first few matches away from home.

  1. Hi Chris I have been following all your excellent informative videos, now with completion within sight and an exciting future ahead. I have been a supporter for over 70 years and season ticket holder since the 1946-47 season. So have seen some wonderful teams especially the 1951-52 ‘push and run’ side and their revolutionary style of play – the magnificent Billy Nicholson and the surging play of Ron Burgess, and wing play of Medley and Walters. Then of course the fabulour ‘doubles’ team of Blanchflower, Whirw Mackay and Jones etc. Many other marvellous players over the years of course. I have plenty of memories. Now the dawn of another great milestone in the club history with a fabulous new stadium, and another great team emerging. Thanks so much for your contributions COYS
