Video: Rio Ferdinand claims Pochettino needs to look in the mirror

Tottenham Hotspur were the laughing stock of European football this evening after being humiliated by a 7-2 defeat to Bayern Munich.

The loss was the biggest ever margin of defeat by an English team at home in any European competition.

Mauricio Pochettino’s side are the first English team to concede seven goals in any European competition since Spurs lost 0-8 to FC Koln in the UEFA Intertoto Cup in July 1995.

It was a complete shambles from Spurs with former striker Gary Lineker asking Rio Ferdinand in the BT Sport studio whether Pochettino’s job will be threatened by such a crushing defeat.

Ferdinand played down a possible exit but insists his players need to react to the result and believes that Mauricio Pochettino needs to have a moment of self reflection.
