Video: Rio Ferdinand makes bold statement about Tottenham’s new stadium

Former Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand paid his first visit to Tottenham Hotspur’s new stadium ahead of last night’s Champions League match against Manchester City.

The defender was on duty for BT Sport as part of their coverage of the match and prior to kick off had the opportunity to take a look around the 62,062 capacity seater stadium.

Ferdinand went as far as claiming that it is the best stadium that he has ever seen, eclipsing Bayern Munich’s Allianz Arena.

Former Spurs players Gary Lineker and Glenn Hoddle were also in awe of the club’s new home.
