Former Crystal Palace chairman Simon Jordan has claimed it is time that Tottenham Hotspur start winning trophies.
The North London club have now won a major piece of silverware for eleven years when they beat Chelsea in the League Cup and have fallen short in the Champions League and Premier League in recent times.
Jordan believes that Spurs need to make a huge risk with their chequebook whilst also claiming that Jose Mourinho could be the salvation for some players who previously did not want to sign contracts at the club.
Mourinho was appointed as the new head coach last week following Daniel Levy’s dismissal of Mauricio Pochettino after five and a half years at the club.
“They have to start winning things.”
“The only way they’ll do it is by taking a huge risk with the culture of our club.”
