Sky Sports reporter Dharmesh Sheth has claimed that a source close to Bayer Leverkusen winger Leon Bailey is the subject of interest from both Tottenham Hotspur and Everton.
Sheth revealed that Tottenham have been monitoring the 23-year-old, however the Bundesliga outfit value him at over £40million and the price would have to come down if there is any chance of a deal being reached.
Bailey has three years left on his current deal at Leverkusen and has previously revealed his desire to test himself in the Premier League (Sky Sports).
The Jamaican international scored seven goals and added three assists in 33 matches in all competitions last season (transfermarkt).
Sport1 reported earlier last month that Spurs had scouted Bailey ahead of possibly making a move to sign him, having impressed in Germany.
