Tottenham Hotspur fans have been left furious after a clear penalty was not given for Mauricio Pochettino’s side at Old Trafford.
Referee Craig Pawson absolutely bottled a decision to award Spurs a penalty when Lucas Moura was bundled over in the box by Manchester United defender Phil Jones.
It wasn’t even a close decision, Jones clearly put the shoulder into the Spurs winger who was running a pace in the box. A terrible decision from the official, but then again we never get a fair rub of the green when playing at their ground.
In what has been a close match to date and the race to finish as high as possible in the Premier League, decisions like this can seriously affect where we end up at the end of the campaign.
