Video: Son goes close to scoring upon his Spurs return

Heung-min Son returned to the Tottenham Hotspur starting eleven for this evening’s match against Watford at Wembley.

There was talk before the game that the South Korean could be tired after his international duty with South Korea at the Asian Cup. However, the Spurs forward has shown no signs of fatigue and has been lively in the opening quarter of the match.

He came close to giving the home side the lead on eight minutes when he turned beautifully away from Tom Cleverly and curled a left footed shot towards goal which left goalkeeper Ben Foster flat footed, unfortunately, it sailed narrowly beyond the far post.
