Heung-min Son returned to Hotspur Way this week after South Korea’s involvement in the Asian Cup came to an end.
A 1-0 defeat in the quarter-final of the competition to Qatar saw Son jet back to London sooner than what some fans had originally anticipated.
With injuries to Harry Kane and Dele Alli, Spurs have been severely lacking an attacking threat in recent matches and the return of Son ahead of tonight’s Premier League clash against Watford at Wembley represents a huge boost for Mauricio Pochettino.
Son has already scored eight goals in the Premier League this season and will be looking to pick back up where he left with his impressive form before he headed off for international duty.
The official Spurs Twitter account posted some footage of Son during yesterday’s training session and announced his return by nutmegging Victor Wanyama.
Welcome back, Sonny! ?#COYS
