To say that the entertainment levels which were produced by Tottenham Hotspur during the second half at St Mary’s on Saturday were non-existent would be an understatement.
After a decent first half where we managed to carve out a number of chances, we could only make one of them count when Dele Alli played a neat chip into the path of Harry Kane who finished neatly from a tight angle.
Unfortunately, that was as good as it got for Tottenham. Maybe, if the players had shown as much energy as this Southampton fan did with his tribute to The Prodigy’s Keith Flint, who sadly passed away earlier this week then maybe we would come away from the match with something.
