The opening of Tottenham Hotspur’s brand new stadium on Wednesday evening will certainly live long in the memory of those who are associated with the club.
After nearly two seasons away from N17, Spurs returned home to North London with a 2-0 victory against Crystal Palace in the Premier League.
Before the match, Spurs held a short but classy opening ceremony which included a stunning firework display which took place on the roof of the stadium.
While the vast majority of supporters were not expecting any pyrotechnics, one unassuming Spurs fan managed to accidentally record a brilliant view of the fireworks from inside the stadium.
Many of us by now have seen the firework footage from high above the 62,062 capacity seater stadium, but the fan footage certainly gives those who were not lucky enough to be within the ground a perspective of how it looked.
