It certainly has been a memorable day for the 28,987 Tottenham Hotspur fans who stepped inside the club’s new stadium earlier today to witness the first football match to be played there.
The club’s Under 18 side ran out 3-1 winners against their Southampton counterparts to ensure the first game at the stadium ended up with a win for the home side.
While the vast majority of supporters were happily entertained with what they saw on the field, the Spurs fans certainly made the most of the day by joining in with a singalong with Spurs legends Graham Roberts and Micky Hazard which was hosted by Paul Coyte.
After the match, some of the fans joined in a rendition of Can’t Smile Without You, which was led by Hazard.
