Video: Spurs hold training session after match; who was spotted taking part

Jose Mourinho has decided to hold a mini training session on the pitch of the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium following today’s 2-1 win against Brighton in the Premier League.

A number of players who did not feature in the match against the Seagulls were put through their paces under the lights in North London.

Club record signing Tanguy Ndombele was spotted taking part along with Heung-min Son who still has a two match suspension to serve following his red card against Chelsea.

Victor Wanyama, Michel Vorm, Juan Foyth, Japhet Tanganga, Oliver Skipp, Alfie Whiteman, Erik Lamela and Eric Dier also took part in the session.

Opinion

With Spurs back in action in less than 48 hours’ time, it appears that Mourinho has made the decision to give his players a work out to prepare for the trip to Norwich City rather than waiting.

He will have to make changes to his side following the respective yellow cards received by Moussa Sissoko and Harry Winks which means the pair will serve a one match ban.
